You probably saw me kvetching about the lack of a grow setup at the moment. So I went and done something about it.
A couple of years ago I built an NFT and bottom wicking system out of Sausage Barn kit - but when I moved it all got ditched.
Since I was keen on Autopots, I went and spoke to them down in Braeside and picked up a 8 pot kit to give a crack on the balcony. We have a bit of space on the north facing wall which is enough space for 6 pots. Picked up a couple of punnets of sad tomatoes and cucumbers to resurrect.
Also built a trellis system out 20 mm PVC pressure pipe.
It's too farkn hawt to do anything this arvo so will look at potting it all up tomorrow. Give the wee seedlings a week to settle in and top water, then switch on the auto feed once they've established. Using 50/50 perlite/vermiculite and Autopot powder nutrients
