Hi guys, I was wondering how many times you water your nutrients in a day? I use 50ltr pots with approx 40ltr of coco in it...and run drain to waste...so I aim to have approx 4 ltr run off...I water 3 times a day in veg and 2 in flower...what are your thoughts?

4 times a day minimum but with as little runoff as possible.

At intervals of around 10-15 minutes, but on super hot days could probably do with an extra 1-2 waterings.

Takes a bit to find the sweet spot, Won't ever be perfect especially with different strains drinking more or less

I feed mine once daily usually around 5pm, I have trays under the pots they usually fill to the brim, 6 plants are taking around 2 litres day then got another 2 that are taking 4 litres a day.

Not saying what I do is right, I’m just not around during the day so that’s how I manage it.

i thought you need 10-15% run off so you not get nutrients lock up/salt build up...how do you get away with that? or do you do extra flushing with just water?

Its not necessary at all from what I've discovered. In other environments it's probably an issue, mine do get a bit of runoff as it's a recirculating system which drains back to the reservoir.

I've never needed to flush coco at any point, as long as it doesn't repeatedly go bone dry then it's not a problem.
