Importing vapes?

I know AUS has banned nicotine tapes, but what is the deal with dry herb vapes? Can I simply order one from the US or am I running the risk it'll get confiscated at Customs? Unlike seeds, a portable vape (e.g. Arizer Solo III) wouldn't look much different in a scanner than a million other small electronic devices people buy online.

Anyone have some first hand experience ordering a vape from overseas recently?

Wow, thanks for the link! I googled around and that pharmacy site never came up. My Arizer GO got dropped hard at a party and never woke up.

I'm a very happy camper. New Solo III with a couple extra long stems are on the way. Silly me, I was shopping at the online vape and bong shops ... should have checked with the real drug dealers!

Indy, when you say Injector Kit, do you mean a Flowerpot vape or a similar device?

I have an OH Freight Train, but have been drooling over one of the fancy Flowerpots. I can stomach the high price for a quality tool that will last many years, but it would be heartbreaking to lose it to the Customs jerks!

@veritas629 Yeah, pretty well much. Seeing you have the Freight Train kit, you should be set, as it was at the forefront a couple of years back. I haven't followed the scene for a good six month, but the Ruby Twist was all the rave earlier this year

As you're probably aware. Avoid the Chinese junk. I initially compiled a kit off Ali Express that proved to be well below par. It's definitely a case of you get what you pay for. I managed to dial the PID temp down an extra 100 F compared to the Chinese garbage, to get a hit.

EDIT: Another little tip i've learnt along the way, is the 3mm Ruby Balls seem to better at retaining heat than the 5mm ones. Also, let it heat up for a good 15 minutes before using it.

I'd have no problems with that last bit leaving it for 15mins I'd just struggle to remember it was on lmfao 🤣
Really need to get one of these flashy things

I do really like the OHFT vape. However, I bought the head that can use a concentrate dish. I should have gotten the non-concentrate Pro version, because the dish version doesn't inhale as easy. I've tried to order the Pro head, but they won't take an order from a foreign credit card or ship to a non-USA address. I can fix both of these issues by visiting family in the US, but that's a Someday In The Future Solution.

I'm pretty excited for the Solo III, so that keep me happy for a good while. Just need summer weather to arrive so we can siit around the barbecue smoking and the other smoking 😉

Yeah, been guilty of that one.. I use a smart switch that i turn on via the tuya app. Once you got the app it opens up a range of functions. In my case, i have a timer (inching function) set for 30 minutes. Turn it on via the app, wait for it to heat up, and if i so happen to forget to turn it off, it'll do it for me.

That's a very cool device and I'd been looking for something to turn off my vape automatically. I dont forget often, but I fear the cat knocking it over and starting a fire. Unlikely, but not worth risking.

Maybe I should rename this thread: Stoners Suggest Stuff and Veritas629 Buys It While High.
