ok here’s a place to talk about seeds and grows from competition wins

most of my plants this year are from comp seeds.

these are just in 20l fabric pots.
so far just good soil and compost.
and water.



grape dragon seems thirstier than the others.
or maybe the retic just doesn’t hit that one quite as good.

i’ll post others later.

hard to photo the ones in the ground as they grew more than i expected and it’s a jungle.

but i’ll try. this is

caterpillars topped it very early on so it’s a double trunk beauty.

That v trunk from the unplanned tipping
My suggestion is gently but firmly tie together at the 1st or 2nd nodes above. Flexy stretchy grafting tape is easy. Simple knots firm but bit loose for trunk growth.
The chance of splitting in windy weather while carrying heavy flowers has potential.

hell yeah. last one i grew had incredibly big buds and this years is stacking them on fast.

yeah that’s a good idea. they do tend to split.
